CODEX

This project presents a curated and comprehensible database of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) experiments including ChIP-Seq, RNA-Seq, DNase-Seq and ATAC-Seq.

CODEX is a database of NGS mouse and human experiments. Although, the main focus of CODEX is Haematopoiesis and Embryonic systems, the database includes a large variety of cell types.

The main sources of the publicly available data within CODEX are taken from NGS repositories such as GEO and ArrayExpress. In addition to the publically available data, CODEX also includes a private site hosting non-published data. The information of each experiment is curated and then processed using an in-house developed data pipeline. The database behind CODEX is growing constantly as new datasets are published.

The main aim of CODEX is to provide an open-resource of uniformly processed NGS experiments. Processed datasets can be analysed online by the user and/or downloaded.
